Vintage Radio Parts/Sources/Items Of Interest:
| AntiqueRadios.com: This is a tremendous resource for radio collectors! This site is loaded with information about -- well, just about anything related to old radios and even early televisions. There are forums as well as links to other sites. | |
| Old Radio Parts.net: This website is run by Mark Oppat in Michigan, who has been collecting and restoring old radios for many years. He has a huge stock of radio knobs, both automobile and home type, as well as volume controls, reproduction dials, and many other hard-to-find parts for older radios. | |
| Bill Turner's Website: This is an interesting resource as well as a nice website to visit. Bill offers reproduction glass dials, reproduction electrolytics, and many other parts, as well as books and manuals. Bill also has a very interesting radio collection that you can view. | |
| Antique Airwaves: This website is chock full of historical information and links. Check it out for parts sources, services, literature, technical information, virtual museums, and collections of several radio hobbyists. | |
| Grebe Radio Website: This is about the best "official" website for old radios you can find, as it is run by Hank Grebe (Alfred H. Grebe III), descendant of the founder of the company. Grebe (pronouced gree-bee) "Synchrophase" radios were very highly regarded back then, and are very collectible today. This website contains lots of interesting information about the company. | |
| OTRCAT: We thought we had a pretty good collection of old time radio programming -- that is until we came across this website! Do you like to hear big band music? Suspense? The Lone Ranger? Amos 'n Andy? What about hearing historic events reported as they were happening? Literally thousands of hours of old time broadcasting are available right here, at a very reasonable price -- or, you can simply listen to samples of these broadcasts online for free! | |

Blue Line: Okay, so this site is not quite related to cars or radios -- however the family that owns this store supports the cruisers in our community, and of course owns a few nice vehicles themselves -- and has been taking care of Tayman Electrical's business needs for years. If you're in Southwest Florida and need anything in the way of office supplies, drafting tools, copying or printing, these people are eager to help. |
